Theme: Salsa & Chachacha

Chacha is one of the nicest dances, apart from Salsa. It is very easy to intergrate the chachacha in Salsa, but it takes some exersize to get it stable. The chachacha is very joyous and fits salsa muziek that is a little too boring for the usuaql salsa steps. At salsa parties chacha music is regularly played. During four lessons Ian will explore with you how to dance on it.

Bachata with Ian Onvlee

Ian teaches you the Bachata as it is danced today at Salsa-parties. It is not a difficult dance but very nice and relaxed.

The new sexy partner dance style Xtreme

Salsa and Bachata have currently moved on to the next new level of dancing, named after the Bachata band Xtreme and the dancing style which developed with their music. The new style involves a mix of Salsa and Bachata with various new sexy elements, taken from dancing styles like showdance, samba, lambada, zouk, tango, dirty dancing, gafiera, chachacha, hiphop, gogo-dance, bellydance and even rock&roll. There is no real limit to the number of possible variations, much of which depends on personal creativity, abilities and preferences. We can dance it open or close, romantically or sexy, or groovy, with jokes or acrobatics, depending on one's personal taste or mood. It can be danced on virtually any music, although the Salsa and Bachata music remains the formal choice.

De zeer getalenteerde Braziliaans-Afrikaanse Sambadanseres Eliza danst Samba als geen ander, is een veelgevraagde showdanseres, en is ongeëvenaard in Nederland. Het begon in Miami!

"Hai, ik ben Eliza. Ik ben bij toeval in aanraking gekomen met een hele nieuwe dansvorm, genaamd Zumba. Het is opgezet door Alberto 'Beto' Perez, een danser en choreograaf uit Miami. Ik ben zo enthousiast geworden over Zumba, dat ik meteen de nodige opleiding hiervoor ben gaan volgen. Nu hoop ik dat jullie allemaal met me komen meedansen en plezier maken, want ik heb er heel veel zin in. Ik ga vanaf 1 mei 2009 beginnen op vrijdag avond van 20.00 tot 21.30 uur in 't Syndicaat, Nieuwe Molstraat 10 in Den Haag."

Fank'z STEP UP 2 Hiphop Streetdance

Fank Suen is een Poppin Hiphop Streetdancer. Na vijf jaar te hebben lesgegeven in China's meest prestigieuze dansstudio genaamd SPEED CREW is hij naar Nederland gekomen om zijn kennis en vaardigheden verder te verbreiden. Hij deed diverse uitvoeringen en nam deel aan danswedstrijden.

Fank Suen is jullie leraar Poppin, Hiphop, Streetdance en Jumpstyle.

The Braziliaanse Zouk is an elegant and sensual dance and therefore also called the romantic form of Lambada. More and more people are enamoured by the magic of this music and dance. SambaCats brings in co-operation with ZoukLovers well-thought out courses based on years of experience. The lessons asre valued for the good technical structure and explanation. Experience it now too and learn the Zouk at ZoukLovers & SambaCats!

About the course: Four courses for beginners are given in two days, followed by four lessons intermediate/advanced in two days. These two short crashcourses you can follow seperately or consecutively. René de Zeeuw teaches you to dance the Zouk Love the Brazilian way. This beautiful sensual music can nowadays be heard on at every Salsa and/or Zouk party. Come Join us and have fun!

About the teacher: René de Zeeuw started his dancing carreer as ballroomdancer. After the salsa he became aquainted with the Zouk. He saw Claudio Gomes giving the Braziliaanse Zouk and was immediately sold and decided to learn his Zouklove-style further. Bachata is one of the nicest and most sensual partner dances, apart from Salsa and Zouk. It is in fact a very easy dance, but it takes some practice to get it stable and smooth. The bachata music is romantic and pleasurable to listen to. At modern salsa parties bachata music is regularly played and the style of Bachata Xtreme has become very popular.

About the course: During four intensive lessons, suitable for both beginners and advanced dancers, Ian Onvlee will teach you how to dance more beautifully and expressively on this music by gradually introducing new special moves that can be danced on any dancefloor and at any Salsa, Bachata and/or Zouk party.
