From 1 January 2010 the following prices for a punchcard will be valid:

Conditions: We accept only cash payment, before the first lesson.
On subscription a minimum of 20 euro is to be payed in advance for reservation. The punchcard will be handed on only after full payment.
Restitution is not possible. The punchcard can be used in all locations for all lessons provided by SambaCats, unless differently mentioned in the list of regular classes under the heading "remarks".
The card is not course bounded and can in consultation be used by one's own judgement.
Even so the participant is held to choose at least one main course and to devote oneself to it, as well as to consultate in advance for a change in this (see "house rules" here under). This is to avoid that a course loses quality.
Missed lessons can be made up for in consultation at other times if available, using the punchcard.
Consultation is needed to avoid that a class for which not has been reserved becomes too full or disrupted by unannounced participations. The same goes for unannounced trial lessons.
In the months July and August and during official holidays and special occasions there are no lessons. During spring and Autumn vacations the lessons go on,
unless the organisation decides otherwise.
With every participated lesson the punchcard must be punched by the teacher.
So one must always hold a valid punchcard ready or buy a new card before the classes start.
One can easily see on the card ahead if a new card is soon needed.
Whoever has forgotten to bring the card along or doesn't want to or can't buy a new card, can buy a single lesson for the occasion. This is not restitutable by way of punch at the next occasion, because there are also extra admininistration costs involved.
If the card is lost no replacing card will be given.
Single lessons by appointment: 15,00 euro.
Trial lessons first time: free. In special cases the trial lesson is also the first lesson, as is noted in the list of classes.
Private lessons on location or at your home: ask for an offerte.
House rules
SambaCats wants to give good quality courses, and our teachers want to have serious students.
Therefor the student is held to obey the following house rules:
1. The student is held to participate at least 3 lessons per month in the chosen main course(s).
Otherwise the student cannot reach the required level. If necessary, a student who is absent too often can be denied further participation.
In some cases we can make an exception, if consultated in advance.
2. Change of main course(s) have to be done in consultation.
3. One should report us 24 hours in advance if a lesson cannot be attended, otherwise the costs of this
will be charged as an attended lesson. This rule does not diminish rule 1.
4. There are no special clothing rules, unless the teacher asks for it.
High heels can damage the floor and restrict movements and are advised against. Jewelry must be
taken off to prevent injuries.
Hygiene is of course a must. The teacher can point this out to the student if necessary.
5. SambaCats has the right to deny participation temporarily or permanently to a student who misbehaves or doesn't comply to the rules or to what has been asked for.
6. SambaCats has the right if necessary to temporarily postpone a course, to combine it or shift it to another time, day or location, to let new students participate, or to replace or discontinue it.
7. If a teacher is prevented, temporarily or permanently, SambaCats wil try to employ a qualified replacement as soon as possible, or in the extreme case make use of rule 6.
Traininglevels
For the construction of our lessons we use the international standard. There are four
main levels: beginners, medium, advanced and far advanced. After that follows the master level for teachers and performers.
These main levels are each divided in sublevels or stadia 1, 2 and 3, usually consisting of 12 lessons of an hour each (usually called a course).
The development of course varies per person, and also depends on the amount of varied excersize and training one has apart from these lessons.
With a training of minimal an hour per week you thus come a sublevel higher each three months. After the first year (about 36 lessons) you are medium.
After two years (about 72 lessons) you are advanced, and after three years (about 108 lessons) far advanced. After four years (about 144 lessons)
you can participate with good results in master-trainingen.
For Bollywood dancing and Linedance other norms are used.
